This leaves all of the regular tools of Photoshop at your disposal, but still gives you an immediate and accurate view of your final output. If your image has more than 256 colors, part of the image will be missing. Work with your document in RGB mode, but keep a 256-color Posterize adjustment layer at the top of the stack. Each color number corresponds to a color in a palette of 256 colors. Simply open and drag/drop image files (of any type) on to the window and the program will convert them to a 256 color PNG with corrected transparency perfect for use with rm2k (3).
